Last Fling Parade

 

The 2008 Parade will take place on Monday, September 1, 2008 starting at 10:00 a.m. in downtown Naperville.  

The 2008 parade theme is: Restore our Green Earth. Parade applicants are encouraged to incorporate the theme into their parade entry.

Our 2008 grand marshall is Forest Preserve District of DuPage County President D. "Dewey" Perotti, Jr.

The 2008 parade route is as follows: The parade begins at the corner of Mill Street and 5th Avenue, by Naperville North High School.  It will proceed south on Mill Street, east on Jefferson Avenue, south on Main Street, west on Porter, and end in the parking lot behind Naperville Central High School.

Participants must enter off of Benedetti or Ogden, as Mill Street will be closed.  Click here for parade application.

 

 

Please be sure to go to the parade in person and then enjoy it again on NCTV Channel 17. NCTV17 will have a full production crew out to tape the entire parade. The parade will air on Labor Day at 3 pm, 7 pm, and 11 pm on Channel 17 or at www.nctv17.com through video streaming. Check the schedule each week at www.nctv17.com for additional air times.
