Who are the Naperville Jaycees? The Naperville Jaycees is a nonprofit service organization with over 200 young persons dedicated to personal development through community service. From Holiday Food Baskets to our annual Easter Egg Hunt, the Naperville Jaycees help the community by volunteering time, fundraising, and helping others...and we have fun doing it! What is the Naperville Jaycees Last Fling event? Where do the profits of the event go? Proceeds from the Last Fling are given to nonprofit organizations in the community and throughout the Naperville area. To learn more about the groups that we make donations to, check out the Donations section of the Naperville Jaycees' website. When does the event take place? Saturday, August 31, 10 a.m. - 11 p.m. Monday, September 2, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Where is the event and how do I get to the event? For directions and parking information, please click here.Is there a parking fee? The Naperville Jaycees DO NOT charge for parking, but please note that there are other organizations/groups near the festival event that do charge a nominal fee that are not associated with the Naperville Jaycees. Is there accessible parking, if so, where? For more information on this, please click here to be directed to that information . Is there designated Motorcycle parking? No. Where do I drop off and pick up someone? If you are going to Family Fun Land or Rotary Hill the best thing to do is to drop/pickup people off on Webster St., just south of Aurora Ave. If you are going to the Carnival or the Entertainment Stage the best thing to do is to drop/pickup people off on Webster St. or Eagle St., south of Jefferson St., near the Nichol’s Library. Can I bring my own outside food and beverages? For the safety of all, no outside beverages or food items are allowed. There will be various food vendors and beverage tents located throughout the festival grounds. Can I bring my dog/pets? For safety reasons, pets are not allowed. Can I provide an out of state license to show proof of age? Yes, as long as the date of birth (DOB) is on the license, however, you may be asked to show additional proof of ID. Where are the beverages and food located by the main stage? There will be two beverage tents located at the Rotary Hill. One at the top (south end) of the hill (on the left side when you enter the main hill), the second is on the same side of the hill as the entrance (east side) but is on the right side when you enter the main hill, closer to the stage). Food can be found next to both beverage tents. Where is the lost and found? During Last Fling weekend, the lost and found will be located at the Jaycee Info tent on Jackson Street. All items found during the event will be brought to this location for pick up. After the event weekend, items will be brought to the Naperville Park District Building on Jackson..
Sponsorship, Sponsors & Business Expo How can I become a sponsor? If you have a question about sponsorship opportunities, please contact the Last Fling Sponsorship Committee by phone at 630-961-4143, by fax at (630)-566-5181, or by e-mail at sponsorship@lastfling.org. Where can I sign up to volunteer? Please click here to be directed to our volunteer sign up page. Where do I check in? To the volunteer check-in is located in the Rubin Center on Jackson Street. If I did not receive confirmation by August 30th, who should I talk to? If you are volunteering with a group of people please contact your group coordinator or someone else you are volunteering with. If no one has received confirmation by August 30th, please contact the Last Fling by clicking here. Is there a deadline? Yes, you must sign up by August 27, 2012. Volunteer shifts are filled on a first come first served basis. Waiting until late August will likely result in all volunteer shifts filled.
How many stages are there and where are they located on your grounds? We offer two entertainment band locations at the Last Fling event. Main Stage entertainment will be located at Rotary Hill (off of Aurora Ave., just north of Naperville Central High School) and all other band entertainment will be held at the Entertainment Stage located on Jackson Street. What bands are playing and where? As bands are secured for the Last Fling Event, information will be posted on our website including Press Releases. Is there an entry fee to get into the event? No, not for the event itself, however there are fees for food, beverages, carnival rides, & Main Stage Acts on Rotary Hill. What about a camera or recording device? Cameras and recording devices are acceptable throughout the entire event, with the exception to Rotary Hill. Flash photography is prohibited on Rotary Hill during Main Stage performances.
It is preferred that you use blankets (no bigger than 10x10 area) and we do allow lawn chairs. As Rotary Hill fills up, please be courteous as to not take up too much space with blankets and chairs. The Naperville Jaycees are not responsible for damage done to blankets or chairs during the festival.
No, it is first come first served "lawn" style seating.
TBD for 2013 *NOTE: Tickets for children 11 and under are free, however, they need a ticket to enter the Main Stage area and they need to be accompanied by an admission paying adult. These tickets must be picked up at the ticket booths the day of the event.

No refunds are available for any reason. Concerts are held rain or shine. We understand it can be frustrating to purchase a ticket that you cannot use due to weather or other circumstances, but please know that proceeds of this event go to local charitable organizations. Thanks to the support of those that attend the Last Fling and our very generous community, the Naperville Jaycees have been able to donate over $2 million back to local charities in the last two decades. Where is Will Call and what time does it open? Will Call opens roughly two hours before Rotary Hill opens each day: Friday: Will Call opens at 3pm Saturday: Will Call opens at 1pm Sunday: Will Call opens at 2:30pm Are any discounts offered when buying tickets early? Once we begin selling tickets at local businesses, you may purchase and receive them at that time. Tickets will be sold on a first come first served basis at the store locations - no reservations will be accepted. Can I use a credit card to purchase tickets at the store locations? Major credit cards and debit cards will be accepted online and at the ticket booths at the Last Fling. Credit cards are not accepted at store locations, but you can purchase there with cash or check. Can I write a check to purchase tickets? Yes. Checks are accepted at store locations and ticket windows at the Fling. When purchasing your tickets by a check, please have checks made out to the Naperville Jaycees and put your phone number and drivers license in the memo section of your check. Checks are not accepted for online purchases.
Where is the carnival located? The carnival will be on Jackson St., between Eagle St. and Ewing St. What are the carnival hours? Monday, September 2, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Please note, ticket sales end 30 minuts prior to carnival closing each night.
How much are the carnival ride tickets? The carnival rides tickets are $1 per ticket. Do you take credit cards for carnival tickets or passes? Yes.
Is there an entry fee? There is no fee to enter Family Fun Land - it is free admission for everyone! A fee may be charged for some items such as rides, food and beverages. What are the days and times for Family Fun Land? Please visit our Family Fun Land page for hours and a schedule. Where is Family Fun Land located? Naper Settlement Will there be food and beverages available? Where? Yes, there will be food vendors on the Family Fun Land grounds. Food vendors will be east of the Martin Mitchell Mansion.
How do I register for a special event? You will be able to sign up online starting in mid-July and depending on the event you may be able to sign up before the event, if there is still room available. Can I register the day of? Yes, you can register up to an hour before the event. You may not receive a Fling Mile t-shirts, as there are only so many extra ones printed. What time does it start? The Fling Mile starts at 9:30 a.m. sharp. Because the route is the same as the parade it is recommended that you plan accordingly as it could be difficult to navigate the area roads due to the road closers. What day is the parade and where is it located? The parade is on Monday (Sept. 2, 2013) at 10:00 a.m. The parade starts Mill Street (Near Naperville North High School). The parade will conclude on Porter Avenue by Naperville Central High School. Is there an entry fee to participate in the parade? Yes, it depends what kind of an organization you are as to how much you pay and when you pay. Please see the parade entry form for more details. How do I register to be in the parade? You must fill in the parade entry form and send it in, along with a check or money order by the dates noted on the parade application form. Please see the parade entry form for more details. Is there a deadline? Information coming soon. When will confirmations be sent out? The confirmations will be sent out the second week of August via mail/e-mail. If you have not received your confirmation by August 30th, please contact the Parade chairpersons.
Where is the drop off location? Depending on which unit in the parade you will be will determine your start point. However, parade units will be lining up on Mill near Naperville North.
Will there be any transportation provided from the end of the parade back to the beginning of the parade? No, parade participants are required to figure out their own means of transportation back to the start of the parade if they have to.
How can I become a food vendor? Please visit our Food Vendor page for information on how to become a vendor. Is there a deadline? Yes, all food vendor applications and fees are required to be paid in full by Aug. 1, 2011. Failure to meet this date can result in not being selected as a food vendor at the Naperville Jaycees Last Fling.
