Who are the Naperville Jaycees?
The Naperville Jaycees is a nonprofit service organization with over 100 young persons dedicated to personal development through community service. From Holiday Food Baskets to our annual Easter Egg Hunt, the Naperville Jaycees help the community by volunteering time, fundraising, and helping others...and we have fun doing it!
What is the Naperville Jaycees Last Fling event?
The Last Fling is the largest annual fundraiser hosted by the Naperville Jaycees. It is a premier event in Naperville that lasts the four days of Labor Day Weekend. The group organizes and staffs the Last Fling in close cooperation with the City of Naperville, the Naperville Park District, numerous Naperville community organizations and tons of volunteers.
Where do the profits of the event go?
Proceeds from the Last Fling are given to nonprofit organizations in the community and throughout the Naperville area. To learn more about the groups that we make donations to, check out the Donations section of the Naperville Jaycees' website.

Is there a parking fee?
The Naperville Jaycees DO NOT charge for parking, but please note that there are other organizations/groups near the festival event that do charge a nominal fee that are not associated with the Naperville Jaycees.

Is there designated Motorcycle parking?
Where do I drop off and pick up someone?
If you are going to Family Fun Land or Rotary Hill the best thing to do is to drop/pickup people off on Webster St., just south of Aurora Ave. If you are going to the Carnival or the Entertainment Stage the best thing to do is to drop/pickup people off on Webster St. or Eagle St., south of Jefferson St., near the Nichol’s Library.
Can I bring my own outside food and beverages?
For the safety of all, no outside beverages or food items are allowed. There will be various food vendors and beverage tents located throughout the festival grounds.
Can I bring my dog/pets?
For safety reasons, pets are not allowed inside paid, ticketed areas.
Can I provide an out of state license to show proof of age?
Yes, as long as a date of birth (DOB) is on the license, however, you may be asked to show additional proof of ID.
Where and how do I purchase Beverage Tickets?
There will be a Beverage Ticketing Tent and ID/Wristband Station in proximity to each Beverage Tent. Tickets can be purchased via Cash or Credit/Debit Card ONLY and are not refundable. Beverage Tickets can be used to purchase Alcoholic and Non-Alcoholic Beverages as well as for Gratuity.
Where are the beverages and food located by the main stage?
There will be two Beverage Tents located on Rotary Hill. One at the top of the hill - the south end & to the left of the main entrance. The second is on the same side of the hill as the entrance (east side) but is on the right side when you enter the main hill, closer to the stage. Food can be found next to both beverage tents.
Where is the lost and found?
During Last Fling weekend, the lost and found will be located at the Jaycee Info tent on Jackson Street. All items found during the event will be brought to this location for pick up. After the event weekend, items will be brought to the Naperville Park District Building on Jackson.

The volunteer check-in is located in the Rubin Center on Jackson Street.
If I did not receive confirmation by August 31st, who should I talk to?
If you are volunteering with a group of people please contact your group coordinator or someone else you are volunteering with. If no one has received confirmation by August 29th, please contact the Last Fling by clicking here.
Is there a deadline?
Yes, you must sign up by August 26, 2016. Volunteer shifts are filled on a first come first served basis. Waiting until late August will likely result in all volunteer shifts filled.
How many stages are there and where are they located on your grounds?
We offer two entertainment band locations at the Last Fling event. Main Stage entertainment will be located at Rotary Hill (off of Aurora Ave., just north of Naperville Central High School) and all other band entertainment will be held at the Entertainment Stage located on Jackson Street.
What bands are playing and where?

Is there an entry fee to get into the event?
No, not for the event itself, however, there are fees for food, beverages, carnival rides, & Main Stage Acts on Rotary Hill.
What about a camera or recording device?
Cameras and recording devices are acceptable throughout the entire event, with the exception to Rotary Hill. Flash photography is prohibited on Rotary Hill during Main Stage performances.
Can I bring in lawn chairs and/or blankets?
It is preferred that you use blankets (no bigger than 10x10 area) and we do allow lawn chairs without canopies. As Rotary Hill fills up, please be courteous as to not take up too much space with blankets and chairs. The Naperville Jaycees is not responsible for lost items or damage done to blankets or chairs during the festival.
Is there assigned seating at concert shows?
No. It is first-come, first-served "lawn" style seating.
How much are tickets?
There is FREE ADMISSION on Friday, Sept. 2nd. Tickets are $35 each for Saturday, Sept. 3rd, & Sunday, Sept. 4th and $30 for Monday, Sept. 5th.
*NOTE: Tickets for children 11 and under are free (excluding Carillon) if accompanied by an admission paying adult. These tickets must be picked up at the ticket booths the day of the event.
Are there any deadlines to purchase tickets?
Yes. Online ticketing cutoff will be noon the day of the show. General admission booths will continue to sell tickets through the concert as long as we don't sell out.

If I purchase tickets online or at store locations early, will I be guaranteed to enter with that ticket at the gate?
Will tickets be delivered?
No. We do not mail out any tickets.
Are refunds available?
No refunds are available for any reason. Concerts are held rain or shine.
We understand it can be frustrating to purchase a ticket that you cannot use due to weather or other circumstances, but please know that proceeds of this event go to local charitable organizations. Thanks to the support of those that attend the Last Fling and our very generous community, the Naperville Jaycees have been able to donate over $2 million back to local charities in the last two decades.
Where is Will Call and what time does it open?
Will Call opens roughly two hours before Rotary Hill opens each day:
Friday: Will Call opens at 3 pm
Saturday: Will Call opens at 1 pm
Sunday: Will Call opens at 2:30 pm
Can I reserve tickets at the store locations?
Once we begin selling tickets at local businesses, you may purchase and receive them at that time. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis at the store locations - no reservations will be accepted.
Can I use a credit card to purchase tickets at the store locations?
Major credit cards and debit cards will be accepted online and at the ticket booths at the Last Fling. Credit cards are not accepted at store locations, but you can purchase there with cash or check.
Can I write a check to purchase tickets?
Yes. Checks are accepted at store locations and ticket windows at the Fling. When purchasing your tickets by a check, please have checks made out to the Naperville Jaycees and put your phone number and drivers license in the memo section of your check. Checks are not accepted for online purchases.
Where is the carnival located?
The carnival will be on Jackson St., between Eagle St. and Ewing St.
How much are the carnival ride tickets?
The carnival rides tickets are $1.25 per ticket.
Do you take credit cards for carnival tickets or Mega Passes?
Yes. Throughout the weekend of the event, credit cards are accepted for Mega Passes and Carnival Tickets. Credit cards can be used to purchase Mega Passes, in advance, at select Jewel-Osco locations and by clicking here.
Is there an entry fee?
There is no fee to enter Family Fun Land - it is free admission for everyone! A fee may be charged for some items such as rides, food and beverages.

Where is Family Fun Land located?

Will there be food and beverages available? Where?
Yes, there will be food vendors on the Family Fun Land grounds. Food vendors will be east of the Martin Mitchell Mansion.
How do I register for a special event?
You will be able to sign up online starting in mid-July and depending on the event you may be able to sign up before the event, if there is still room available.
Can I register the day of?
Yes, you can register up to an hour before the event. You may not receive a Fling Mile t-shirt, as there are only so many extra ones printed.
What time does it start?
The Fling Mile starts at 9:15 a.m. sharp. Because the route is the same as the parade it is recommended that you plan accordingly as it could be difficult to navigate the area roads due to the road closures.
What day is the parade and where is it located?
The parade is on Monday, September 7, 2015 at 10 a.m. The parade starts on Mill Street near Naperville North High School. The parade will conclude on Porter Avenue by Naperville Central High School.
Is there an entry fee to participate in the parade?
Yes. It depends what kind of an organization you are as to how much you pay and when you pay. Please see the parade page for more details.
How do I register to be in the parade?
You must fill in the parade entry form and send in a check or money order by the dates noted on the parade application form. Please see the parade page for more details.

When will confirmations be sent out?
The confirmations will be sent out the second week of August via mail/e-mail. If you have not received your confirmation by August 29th, please contact the Parade chairpersons.
Where is the drop off location?
Depending on which unit in the parade you will be will determine your start point. However, parade units will be lining up on Mill near Naperville North.
Will there be any transportation provided from the end of the parade back to the beginning of the parade?
No. Parade participants are required to coordinate transportation back to the start of the parade.
